Overview

This Safety policy describes The Sugar Look's zero-tolerance approach to human trafficking, coercion, exploitation, and related criminal conduct on or through the platform.

Member safety is a core requirement of how the service operates. These standards apply to all accounts, messages, posts, profiles, and off-platform coordination that begins on or is facilitated through the site.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, community content standards, Privacy Policy, and Law enforcement information. Where another page describes a related practice in more detail, that description applies.

Zero-tolerance policy

The Sugar Look has zero tolerance for trafficking, coercion, exploitation, grooming, or facilitation of related criminal behavior.

Any content, messaging, profile activity, or account coordination that enables exploitation is prohibited and may result in immediate enforcement action.

We do not treat exploitation-related conduct as a moderation gray area. Credible safety concerns are prioritized for rapid review.

Actions may include content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension or termination, evidence preservation, and lawful cooperation with authorities where applicable.

Prohibited behavior

Recruitment, coercion, threats, blackmail, debt bondage, forced services, or attempts to control another person's movement, work, housing, documents, or finances through the platform are forbidden.

Grooming, manipulation, or pressure designed to isolate someone, obtain compromising material, or move them into exploitative arrangements is prohibited.

Advertising, soliciting, coordinating, or normalizing trafficking or exploitation — including sharing instructions, contacts, or resources that enable such conduct — is prohibited.

Using the platform to target vulnerable people, misrepresent opportunities, or conceal exploitative intent is forbidden regardless of the language or framing used.

Attempts to evade enforcement, re-create banned accounts, or continue prohibited conduct through alternate identities or third parties are also prohibited.

Minors and age-related exploitation

Any involvement of minors in sexual, exploitative, or trafficking-related activity is strictly prohibited.

Content involving minors, anyone who appears under 21, or age misrepresentation intended to circumvent safeguards is forbidden and treated as a highest-priority safety issue.

Accounts suspected of targeting minors or facilitating access to minors may be suspended immediately while review and preservation steps are taken.

If you encounter content or conduct involving a minor, report it immediately. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Recognizing concerning behavior

Members should treat the following patterns as serious warning signs: sudden pressure to move communication off-platform, requests to share travel documents or banking access, threats tied to photos or personal information, or claims that someone "owes" another person money, work, or compliance.

Be alert to profiles or messages that promise unrealistic arrangements, discourage contacting friends or family, or rush verification, travel, or financial dependence.

Repeated attempts to obtain identifying documents, housing details, workplace information, or control over another member's communications may indicate exploitation risk rather than ordinary interaction.

You do not need to be certain before reporting. Provide what you observed and let our safety review process assess the concern.

How we respond

Safety reports are reviewed according to severity, credibility, and available context. High-risk or imminent-harm concerns are prioritized.

We may remove content, restrict accounts, suspend access, preserve relevant records, and take additional steps needed to interrupt ongoing harm.

Our review focuses on policy violations and safety risk, not on whether reported content is merely negative or critical.

Where appropriate and lawful, we cooperate with law enforcement and emergency-response processes. See Law enforcement for how official requests are submitted.

Reporting a concern

If you see suspicious activity, report it as soon as possible using in-platform reporting tools or Contact Us.

Include the exact link, username or alias, date and time, and a clear description of what concerned you. Screenshots or other supporting material may be attached where the form allows it.

Provide only the information needed to investigate. Do not include unrelated personal details about third parties beyond what is necessary to explain the concern.

You do not need to resubmit the same report multiple times unless we ask for additional information.

Immediate danger

This platform is not an emergency response service and cannot provide real-time physical intervention.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first before or in addition to submitting a platform report.

After contacting emergency services where needed, submit a platform report with as much detail as possible so our safety team can take complementary action on the account and content involved.

Member responsibilities

Do not participate in, facilitate, or ignore conduct that appears coercive, exploitative, or trafficking-related.

Do not attempt to investigate serious safety matters on your own in ways that could put you or others at greater risk.

Use reporting tools promptly when you encounter prohibited conduct. Timely reports help us act before harm escalates.

Keep your own account secure, avoid sharing sensitive personal documents through messages, and be cautious about moving trust-sensitive arrangements off-platform.

Contact

Use Contact Us to report exploitation concerns, ask safety-related questions, or follow up on a report that requires more context.
